There’s a saying that “All Good Things Must Come To An End”. And so our 3 part series on The Pro Experience SoCal hosted at Crafted At The Port of Los Angeles is coming to an end. But don’t despair our final post on this event is just as good as the previous two. We ended with an interactive lunch that left guests wanting more. Lucky for them they had much more coming to them once their afternoon educational session were done.

With learning behind them, the professionals returned to the ballroom for a lively cocktail hour where they could let their hair down and network with their colleagues. They were greeted with cocktails provided by our partner Sunseri’s. Hearty options were tray passed and included:

Laotian Chicken Meatballs on Sugar Cane with Spicy Cilantro Sauce; Million Dollar Bacon; Mini Caesar Salad Bite, Local Seabass Tiradito with Leche de Tigre on a spoon; Filipino Adobo Pork Belly Bao Taco with Watermelon Radish.

We offered a Pretzel Station with assorted soft and hard Pretzels with Nacho Cheese Sauce, Red Dragon Cheese Sauce, and Nutella Ganache.

A new trend in cuisine is the Grazing Station. We’ve embraced this trend wholeheartedly and our Chef JT Walker took it a whole new level for this event. He designed a stunning Farmers Market Stand with Assorted Seasonal Local Produce that included Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Olives, Carrots, Humus, Spinal Artichoke Dip, Buttermilk Ranch Dressing, Baba Ghanoush, Bruschetta, Fresh Pickles, Artisanal Cheeses and Meats, with Assorted Crackers and Local Breads.


Our greatest takeaway from the day was that all the hard work paid off. Our attendees gave us incredible feedback on how satisfied they were about our cuisine from the breakfast, lunch and cocktail hour sessions. We were happy to serve so many professionals we’ve known for decades and to meet new professionals who were impressed with our food and service. We are thankful to The Knot, Wedding Wire and So Smitten Events for the opportunity to show the wedding industry everything we have to offer.
