Summer is upon us and that means corporate parties and beach parties. Not every client can have a party on the sand but we can bring the beach to them! That’s exactly what we did in this case. Our client wanted a “Kawabunga Beach Theme”, and our talented event producer Pam Aki delivered. With beach balls, tropical flowers, seashells and blow up kiddie pools the motif was fun vibrant and bursting with excitement. Guests had a bountiful buffet that included a Smores Bar with real flame! It was a fan favorite. We can’t thank our rental company OC Events enough for making this event lively and seamless.
The Event Producer worked with our client on their annual “Showgun Awards”, that honors employees who have worked with them 10 or more years. The buffet menu Pam created was a crowd pleaser and included:
Caribbean Flatbread Pizza with BBQ Apricot Chicken, Pineapple & Green Onions, Coconut and Beer Battered Shrimp with Tangerine Mustard Dip, Mini Pastry Bites with Sun Dried Tomatoes, Roasted Shallots and Feta Cheese, Mango Avocado Bruschetta on Garlic Baguettes, Gourmet Greens with Mandarin Orange Segments, Sliced Mushrooms, and Caramelized Pecans, Slow Roasted Garlic Crusted Tri-Tip with Black Peppercorn Sauce, Island Rice with Golden Currants and Almonds, Grilled Garden Vegetables with Lemon Garlic Butter.
Our very inventive Smores Display included: Classic and Golden Graham Crackers, Milk Chocolate Bars, Peanut Butter Cups and Peppermint Patties and of course white and colored marshmallows.
